Unfortunately we regret to see some projects uses ultrasonics for this type robots. You should never use ultrasonics for mini sumo or sumo robot for these reasons:
- Slow response up to 70 mS!
- High affection by vibration (if robot moves fast datas become unstable)
So we suggest infrared type beam reflective sensors. Infrared sensors have these advantages:
- Fast response (Between 0.5 mS to 10mS)
- Not affected by vibration or noise.
